First car you ever drove

When I was 16, my grandma sold me her well-kept '59 Plymouth Savoy in 1975. Remarkably clean for a Michigan car (seldom left her garage). Unlike the photo car, hers was white but also a four-door sedan. It had the ancient flat six and a three on the tree. Fortunately, I had learned to drive on my parent's VW Microbus--with its four-speed manual.

I thought Granny's humble sedan was the coolest ride ever (still do). It began a life-long love of Mopar for me, though my buddies--all rich kids with new Trans Ams and Camaros--derided it and its glorious fins. Unfortunately, it was broadsided by an idiotic driver who went 60 mph though a red light into my passenger side. I was lucky to escape with a busted nose and severely bruised knee.
Would I love it back! Unfortunately, ForwardLook cars are priced way out of my humble range.
