Howdy folks, in my newest endeavor of helping a friend with his Dads estate, I’ll be helping him sell off his Dads collection of cars. Made a general sweep of the job today and this caught my eye. I know it’s an a100 style van, but the camper thing has me intrigued. Anybody know anything about these vans that could help point me down the road to finding it a home? I’ll give it a closer look tomorrow, but thought I could get some eyes on it first.

The only pic I have so far. Any info would be much appreciated.

Looks like a homemade camper. If a coach company did the conversion there might be a tag/plate. I like the A100 Van's, cool as can be! 65'

There several like it online. I don't think it is homemade, IMHO. This one, and a couple others. I wonder if someone sold a kit for the upgrade. ????

It's not home made. Geoff, get on the A100 page on Facebook. There's a lot of guys on there that know a lot about them. They can tell you all about it.

Now that’s what I’m talking about! Thanks for the great replies everybody, I’m going to go over it a little closer tomorrow, and I’ll report back. You all are the best, thanks a bunch for all the input. This job is going to be fun, there’s a ton of great stuff there, all of which will be going to new homes. Here’s a few I’ll be listing here.

yes sir, it all has to go.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for that one when you get caught up with details on all of them. That camper van in your original post looks like the longer A108 version of those vans. I think they were kind of Dodges answer to the VW camper vans of that era.

I wouldn't mind owning that van. What's he asking for it ?

I don’t know yet. We just went through everything very quickly to try to formulate a plan to get the place cleaned up. I’m going back out there today to set up a system to start hauling away all the scrap, and get a dumpster there for all the non metal stuff. They are getting together all the titles and we are going to match them up to the cars and trucks. I’m going to inspect the vehicles a little better to better describe them when I get to the selling part. I’d also like to have an idea if things run or not, and whether or not there is any structural problems with them. There’s about 30 vehicles there to deal with, yesterday was the first time I saw them. I’ll keep you posted on the van, I’ll get a few more pics of it today.
