Actually it was probably running before it ended up looking like that. $3900 for a viper motor and trans sounds like a steal to me. At worst you would probably get a short block that needs to be gone through. Or maybe a long block and trans that needs to be gone through. They gotta be worth a pretty penny. Maybe there's a legible serial number on it somewhere that could be decoded to find out what year it was. :)
