I just wanted to share a few photos of my car that just returned from the body shop, my brother hauled 2 cars for me from Pa. to Fl. for body work and paint. He stayed for 2 weeks helping to prepare the car for paint, it was about a 95 percent rust free survivor having been in storage since 1974, he brought it back and left the 4 door 1967 signet commando 4 speed for the body guy to work on in the future, that one will need some rust repair. The convertible is a commando, automatic, with power steering and power brakes.

Nice Signet you have there! Be careful you don't scratch it while reassembling it. 65'

Sweet Valiant:thumbsup:

C-P dealer here in Connecticut that I worked at in the late 90's,
The landlord had a red convertible too. A hopped-up 225 was installed. As lot-boy I got to drive that car to various shops (Trim shop, muffler shop). Was kinda of a ***** to drive with manual steering (I was spoiled by power assist) but otherwise cool to drive. Always wondered what happened to that car. I know that at one time it had been stolen and later recovered. Hoping for the day the owner joins this board.
