Dana 60 swap, what should I be on the lookout for??

MAny of the 3/4 ton dana 60's have different axle ends, bearings and brakes. But if you plan to narrow it, that shouldn't be an issue.

AS far as finding a limited slip, look for special edition trucks, higher than baseline or ones with an upgraded cover.

I am aware Ford did a good job with identifying their parts with stampings, showing gear ratios, and stamped with LS or L indicating limited slip. I am not sure what you mean by upgraded cover? I will be changing out housing ends to Mopar to use my brakes and such. Was curious if there are certain years were better than others?
