I am new here, so I am asking what are the 3 best web sites to buy new A Body parts. For example, I am looking for new door sills for 1973 Duster and I want to know the best web site to buy them from for fit and looks.

In most cases, there's only one manufacturer of these reproduction parts. The market is not large enough to support 3 or 4 manufacturers. Post a wanted ad on here. 99% of the time, good used original parts are best.

As Demonic mentioned, sometimes good used parts are better than new due to lousy fit etc. Also if going with a site sponsor, send them a pm thru here as you will probably get a discount.

I bought door sills for my 66 Dart and for my Swinger 10 years later. Both came from Laysons. They fit good and looked great. Old and new.

Have had good luck with "Vans" classic car parts out of Wisconsin over the years.

They used to have a lot of stuff listed on ebay, but you can order direct from them too.

Can click the white box on their web site and search the products / parts you are looking for.

I would only use Layson's if the parts aren't being made by AMD, Goodmark, Sherman etc. As in, if I could get the parts from Summit that's where I'd get them. Prices are better, shipping is better/faster, way easier to get ahold of. That even goes for buying direct from AMD, I'd use Summit first unless there was some kind of massive sale. And then I'd probably ask Summit to match. Their return policy and customer service is better than most of the other places.

I probably get over 90% of the reproduction parts I buy from Summit. Upgrade suspension parts I get from Bergman AutoCraft, DoctorDiff, Firm Feel, PST, etc.

I only use Layson's if they're the only one that carries the part. They do carry/make some stuff that no one else has, but shipping and customer service move at a pace that's closer to carrier pigeon than anything else. Maybe they've gotten better, it's been awhile since I've used them. Last time though I waited several weeks, and that was before any pandemic supply issues could be blamed. Summit drops off my orders next day or day after even with standard shipping if the parts are in stock.

I won't buy anything at all from Classic Industries, they don't have anything that isn't carried elsewhere and their shipping and customer service isn't good. Van's carries almost all the stuff Classic has and Van's is much better for shipping and customer service.

No sweat! Thanks for clarifying (been there done that) It's too bad us Canucks get skewered on shipping. At least Summit steps up, it helps, or would spend more with site sponsors.
I had no idea I hit the disagree button. It was totally by mistake.

Undid the disagree. Sorry about that.

A Body (71 Dart) exhaust tips in 2.5". I just bought some from them because I couldn't find anyone else that had what I was looking for. I got the shipping info from them a day after I ordered them. Lets hope everything goes smoothly.

Maybe they had a set on the shelf, but Classic is not a manufacturer, they don't make anything.

Best of luck with shipping, and hopefully you don't need their customer service.

Got my exhaust tips in and they were exactly what I wanted from Classic Industries. Ironically they were made by Accurate Exhaust but cheaper. And Accurate Exhaust has been out of stock.
