anyone ever flow test 383 A body manifolds say vs 383-440 hp manifolds

I can. I have 1-7/8 to 2" schoenfield dyno headers. They have supported close to 1000hp on a previous (n20) 511" build so no problem for the baby cam.

That would be cool if you test the 3 manifolds against the headers.
It could be an eye opening experience.
