Some years back, I also built a '72 340 2.02 J head, used MP .474/280 cam. It ran strong. LD 340 intake, 750 DP, and I believe cyclone headers....

The plan is custom Racer Brown MFT cam, 71 340 intake with a 72 340 manual TQ, 68 -70 340 exhaust manifolds, in front of an 833 O/D and 3.91 gears. We'll see how it evolves. I will take pictures...
