1969 Plymouth Barracuda Tube Chassis

Hi all,

Recently purchased this 1969 Barracuda Slickback tube chassis that will likely not work for what I want long term. Mild steel chassis and not certed. (My interests have changed to 8.50 cert car, chrome-moly) and would have interest in swapping for a non-tube car if it was turnkey.

The car is light as hell. Think low 2000’s. The build is a 10-pt cage. I can send extensive pics on welds but I’ll be honest. There’s some good and some meh. I’m a perfectionist on welds so I’m probably more critical. Call it a 6.5/10. Tilt front end and will come with a ton of parts like radiator, grills, driveshafts, etc. all trim is there and it is glass all the way around except for the windshield, which I don’t have. Back glass is tinted and in good shape. 8 3/4 rear end with what I was told is 4.88 gears. Disc all around. Steel body except for tilt front end. Tires are monsters. Tin work is very good on this car.

let me know if interested. Feels like this has major potential but is not the Quick 16/Top Sportsman car I need. Still thinking about keeping it for the panels and body anyways to have a chassis made because they are in great condition but selling the whole car would appeal to me right now.
