What is your favorite Baseball Movie and Why?

I do like that movie. I did not realize it was written and directed by a former Triple A player. I do remember hearing that some Little Coaches took their teams to that movie thinking baseball theme, and being a bit surprised at some of the racy content. LOL

Yes, Ron Shelton was a good enough player to spend two seasons in Triple A. He was a second baseman and utility player. Unfortunately for his baseball career, Bobby Grich was Shelton's teammate. Grich got promoted to the Orioles, and Shelton was released. There's no way he was going to crack that 1970s Orioles lineup. He did alright for himself, and still does occasional appearances at the Rochester ballpark.
