I am finally back after most of the last month and 1/2
racing on the roads.

I will start look thru the 9800 series.
I know I have a Brand New 9810.Shipped/Insured
$400. or $425 Converted with new linkage for Mopar w/Kickdown
(Holley built conversion)
A couple 9800s for $250 Shipped/Insured
and a crusty and dirty 9801 and a 9811 for $125 Shipped/Insured
but should be rebuilt prior to use.
I have still about 100 production Thermoquads of various numbers
(Many early HP that are hard to find)
laying around the shop BUT I will not sell any 1971 Carbs and would like
to find a couple more!

ok John if you have a nice 9801 because I want it for a 440 call me ( no phone numbers in public forums) we can get this going, I beleive the 9801 is the better for my application, Someone told me that Ford had a TQ also with a electric choke and bigger CFM

You should not put your phone number in a post. Click on his name and "start a conversation" in private.

I have a couple of the Ford Thermoquads.
$125.00 Shipped and Insured on my dime.
Tha should be a steal = they are rare!!
Good Intact Carbs but have been sitting since
the 70's and should probable have a cleaning
and a kit.
I just do not have the time right now to rebuild one for you.
They came on the big 460 Ford wedge. They are popular with
the Ford SuperStock racers but I am not on that forum.
Very hard to find but I do not remember if they have electric
choke or thermo. I have not had them out of the box for 30 years
or more!

Please PM mail me as I do not look at profile page very often
Thanks.

PS Only Brand New 9800 Series is 9810
$400 or $425 converted to Mopar kickdown linkage (New Nolley Conversion Part)

NOS Brand New Carter "Super Quads"
I have had these in storage since the 1980
These are the High Performance Super Quads
made in the 1980 for Racing and HP use
They are the only one calibrated for Performance
and Not for emissions or mileage!!
The circuits are different and the accelerator pump circuits
and squirter are refined for maximum power and throttle response.
We run these on my Stock and Superstock race Car as they are a legal
replacement for the smog carbs
I have run these type Cars (Not these new ones) against the 1971 thermoquads
which before these came out were the best and the 9801s ARE noticably faster!
9801 is calibrated for Mopars and features Mopar linkage as does the 9811 but
the 9811 is for 273/318 smaller engines.
These might be the last NOS Super Quad you may ever see~!

9801 = I have Two NEW($450 each shipped)
9810 = One NEW ($400.shipped)

I have a 1/2 Dozen 9800 /9801/9810/9811 that are low mileage and
very nice shape = $250 each shipped

Ed, IMO, the TQ is a better carb to work with and on and make changes to. Once it’s dialed in, it’s an excellent street carb. Ask GTXjohn if he has a new one for your application.

I’ve used these carbs before. They have always been very good to me delivering good mileage, power and responsiveness.
