727 torque converter/pump bushing

will put to much trans fluid against the seal ...Right ?
Wrong, there is a drain back channel right underneath it, so the only pressure in there is atmospheric unless the vent gets plugged..... which I have never seen happen.
If the seal ain't leaking, damaged, or severely worn, I would leave it alone. That is unless of course you already have the front end out of the trans, lol. In a streeter,, those front seals will go a half a million miles, maybe more.
As for the bushing, once the TC is spinning, the snout is riding on a hydrodynamic wedge of oil, just like the rods , except without the hammer-action.
You are gonna really like that 2800. At least I like it. I put 2800s in all my Mopes; at least the ones with autos, lol.
