Well Tom told me the last time I emailed him that they received the pan cores and they should be ready to ship around March 22nd. So I emailed his last email to me today and quickly got a response that they are ready and asked me for my shipping address. Looks like things are looking up. I will update if and when I get it and after I check it out.

Well you aren’t going to believe this. Good news is my new oil pan came today. Bad news is after one year and lots of pictures to see what is wrong the pan that came is exactly like the one that wouldn’t work without lots of fab work. I wait a day to unload on him. This is the one that just came and is supposed to work with a 4.125 stroke crank. Meanwhile my rods hit with a 4.00 crank. Notice no oil tube notch and how far it extends

Well that sucks! I was hoping they would get that hammered out and make a satisfied customer out of you.:soapbox:

Wel now that I’ve had 24 hours to calm down I sent Tom a long email and pictures of how it should be and how it is. Actually the same pictures I sent him over a year ago trying to get them back on track. I thanked him for trying. I guess when time permits I will cut out both baffles, make up new ones, and weld them in like I did 14 months ago for my 408 in my duster now. Someone should be fired for these changes that turn a pan that I’ve used for years into a piece of useless crap. I’ll update if I hear back from him.

That's pretty awful.

Do you have a phone number for him? I feel like something like may be best addressed verbally.

I talked to him last year and explained the pictures and what needed done. He insisted that no changes were made to the pans. In the end he agreed to send me a free pan so I thought the message sank in. I guess not.

Well no response yet so he’s either on vacation or stopped caring. He usually responds to an email within the hour if I send one California time. After one o’clock in Pa.

Might be time to get on the horn.
It's time for them to get that generic pan correct.

Nope. I’ve given him over a year and to much of my time already. If this is where it ends I’ll move on to another company for my pans. He sent me a free fudged up pan that I will fix and use when needed.
