I'm 56 and a fan of newer wheels. The dudes that stick to stock sizes will ***** and insult guys like me but I don't care.
I cannot stand the look of painted steel wheels and small hubcaps on anything but a stripped down model from the 60s. I know that a lot of people like the look but to me, it has to fit the model.

In my opinion, this car looks fine with the wheel choice. I don't like them on Duster-Demon-Dart Sport models or anything built from -68 and later.
I wouldn't insult a man for using them if he is happy with them.
Although I love the larger diameter wheels, the tire has to have some sidewall so the 20" wheel look doesn't appeal to me in most cases.
At the same time, I also dig the "Day Two" period correct slotted wheels, the American Racing or Torque Thrust spoked wheels. One I really like is this style, made popular by Panasport:
