Well, my son and I have been putting my old car together since last fall. I drove it down our country road for the first time since 1991 tonite. Dam does it feel good. A few more things to clean up then going to the track for inspection

Congrats on the milestone. I remember reading your “pulled it out of the barn” thread and you and your kid were going to get it running. Great story. Don’t let it sit for another 31 years. Drive the crap out of it and enjoy it.

Yep. He has had a turn in the seat! He convinced me to buy a project 1964 Dart convertible Arizona car with no rust to do for a driver streetcar. In his words “what the hell am I going to do with this when not at the racetrack. This is ridiculous. You guys drove things like this around town?” Love it. The car ran low 11s when I parked it. I’m sure it’s quicker now. Looking forward to the new A Body build
