Heads look really nice, talked today with Rod and my set should be coming shortly too as I start on a little performance upgrade on my Demon.

Flow #’s?

honestly, I didn’t ask and don’t care. I am more curious to find out how much better they are than the Eddie’s I am taking off. Track results are my interest.
Based on what they have done at the track, I expect a nice gain, even with my dinky cam( which I am not changing)

I’m not into flow #’s either. Just curious that’s all. Its all about track results. I’m sure these heads will perform very well.

Very happy for you Don, excited to see your track results, jonesing for a pair myself, Best Wishes.

What intake gasket do these take?, also do you have the intake port size?, appreciate any info, thanks.

What fuel are you planning on using?

200 cc Intake
Rod mentioned a preferred intake gasket, will have to get the part number from him.
I have a set of 1213 Fel Pro’s I bought. Will do a little checking to see if they will work with perhaps a bit of trimming at the top..or not…or if I need to use Rod’s part number that is being used on the Duster from drag week he is talking about. Either way, all will be good.
That friggin intake port IS TALL..lol

had the heads cut to 61 cc to keep compression with my flattops up to where it will like 110.
Otherwise, probably could have gotten away with pump gas.
But I like the smell of race fuel, it’s better consistency, and the little extra power from bit more squeeze.

They look great Don. So........ you've already got them on and running.......

waiting on one more possible piece to the puzzle, if we can somehow get shipping worked out.
And the availability of Scott and his shop to do the swap….it will be sometime in the next 3-4 weeks. Weather up here isn’t looking good next couple weeks anyhow. Cool, rainy.
Yesterday is was 83, more cars at Test and tune at US 131 than I think I have ever seen. Was there to meet up to get the heads from Rod.

What's the last piece to the puzzle?

set of 1 7/8 under chassis race headers.
I can use band clamps and couple of set screws to connect my bullet muffs to them, if I get them. Should help a little with the heads.
Wish I had a nice roller cam…. Or a bigger flat tappet with definitely more lift.
Just hoping I don’t pay for not having a Dana this season, which was my original offseason plan..couldn’t pass up these heads

I will be using some 1 7/8 TTI headers on the Demon that fortunately I already had bought for a different project a few years back.

What is the standard chamber size they come with? I don’t have Facebook and I have not seen that mentioned yet in your threads.
Looking forward to seeing the track results for sure.

Far side chamber ,intake side.
I tried pushing it out in increments had even an angled flat kind of where I left the lower half and then just pushed out halfway up to the deck. Point is shaped right inline with the far side bowl angle..and not pushed too much, it works in sizable increases. At max lift you can kind of test this by moving a closed chamber head toward you a little to make a lip off the chamber to bore adapter and it picks up, sometimes. Always variables I guess.

Thanks for sharing. Good to see more heads on the market.
