As some of you know if you've been following along, yall know we have big old Clyde, number 10. He's being pretty stubborn about coming inside and being part of the brood, but it's slowly working. We've left it up to him when to come in, because now, he has started marching across the threshold all by himself. lol Kitty is trying only giving him his treat inside, with all the rest and it's working. Here is the whole brood, with big old Clyde bring up the rear in front of the fridge. He had to have a plate all his own. lol

How much time do you spend daily, gathering up fur and emptying litter boxes with that herd?

Meh, bout twenty minutes. Have to stay on top of it of course. They are happy so it's well worth it.

A group of cats, btw is called a clowder. lol

Why so many cats?
Kitty and I both love cats. As such we've always had some. Over the years, we've just gotten to where we take in strays if they get along with the brood. We get them vetted, fixed and they become part of the family. So I guess our question would be "why not?" lol

I was adopted by my first cat, grey day slop falling out of the sky. He scratched at my door. He wasn’t going much farther. Put him next to the fireplace on an old sleeping bad. Fed him some lasagna I was making , he stayed for 18 years

Generally speaking, they are very happy. Only every now and then do they get into a tussle and then it's just roughhousing. lol
They look like they all get along pretty well. I have never had that luck with multiple cats. There was always a fight. :mob:

We're pretty fortunate. They've never been serious about fighting. It's always playing. They play chase a lot. At 3:30 in the mornin. Sound like little horses runnin through the house. lol

Yeah it's weird. Lions are a pride. Kittens are a kindle. Go figure.

I have one inside cat , his momma left him in my little shed in the back yard, when I found him he was about 6 weeks old I figure .. mean as a real tiger too , I brought him into my home and worked with him to act like a normal cat , his 4th birthday is up coming soon it really has taken this long to get him to be a nice pet

Back in 2013, when we only had 7.

4 of this crew are no longer with us.

Our orange cat left us this little present on the door mat. It ‘was’ a ground squirrel.
