The DMT material is vinyl, .020 or so thick. I contacted DMT late last year to get the name of the material supplier as I was building a gauge - switch mount for the 68 Barracuda to go in place of the center counsel and I wanted the appearance to match the DMT dash overlays. They got me the company name and I got the matching material.
It is thin vinyl, no adhesive backing and certainly not a decal or water slide.
I’ll get a photo tomorrow and post it.
