65 Barracuda Filler Neck Solution?

My solution was to goto the 1967 Flip Top Gas Cap...
It has a nice heavy spring on the cap, holding it "tight" onto a piece of Delrin I machined with a Rounded sealing surface !
And on the back side there is a large O ring around the factory fuel neck that seals to the Delrin adapter + 2 more Small diameter O rings that seal on the metal rounded surface of factory fill tube !!! And a thin white foam seal for the black Delrin to sit against !
I just now took it apart after being on there for a number of years so I could take these photos... I don't see any damage at all... Looks New to me ! ( No Ate Paint )
I'm not always good at explaining things... so I Hope the Pictures will tell the story better then I did !
NOTE : This does not stop the Gas Fill Problem, but the driving around with a cap that does NOT Seal Problem... On Original caps, the seals have dried up and srunk !
As for filling, I hold the nozzle handle almost upside down... and I fill SLOWLY to prevent Surge ! Once I filled my B-cuda and shut my Flip Top Cap, No fuel gets out !!! ( Except into the Carburetor and out the Exhaust Pipe )

I've had this B-cuda since the mid 70's and since I did this Mod to my Gas Fill Cap a number of years ago, I just do not have the Problems with fueling up anymore ! My 2-cents and at 77, maybe I know nothing... other then I love my `cuda !
