Stolen 1972 Dodge Challenger in California.

Terrible. Especially a car that’s been passed down in the family like that.

I’m sure this isn’t news, but just in case your friend hasn’t considered it there’s a possibility that this is someone he’s had some kind of contact with. Breaking into a garage, stealing parts out of another car etc indicate that the thief might have had prior knowledge of what was there and had a plan.

It’s also a good reminder to the rest of us about what we post online. I love posting pictures of my car as much as I like looking at other peoples cars, but you have to be careful about how much information is in those pictures. Like, street addresses, the layout and location of your shop and tools etc. It’s impossible to keep all your information off the internet, but you don’t want to post a road map to your valuables either.


This is why you don't show your **** off on Facebook or online. Probably somebody he knew or someone they knew 'friend of a friend' who heard what was in there.
