1967 Dart 270

I'm thinking of selling my 67 Dart 270.

This car was a Texas car (Denton) its whole life until a year ago when I brought it here to New England. The same family owned it for 50 years apparently. Odometer shows 38,000 and the title I received from the seller said 36,000 not 136,000 so I'm not sure, but I think it could certainly be 38000.

It is garage kept. The car has been repainted a couple of times due to fading from the previous owner. I would rate the paint as a nice driver. The car overall is in very nice shape with no evidence of body work that I can find anywhere. The underside is very clean and rust free. I added the GTS hood and stripe. I have all the original parts so that the car can be put back to its as delivered condition.

Interior is very nice. It could use new armrests in the front. They appear to have had an attempt at recovering and not great. The window regulators on the passenger side could use some work. There is a little bit of bubbling near the dog leg on the passenger side which I assume is because there are some small splits in what I would guess is the original vinyl top.

The driveline currently is a 273 with an LD4B Edelbrock intake and a Holley 4160. The transmission shifts like new, and the rear is a 7 1/4 with Sure Grip. All new tires. Engine runs very well, but the carb could probably use a little jet tweaking.

I also have a freshly machined 5.9 magnum I was building to put in. It is currently a short block but I have nearly all the parts to complete. The EQ heads with 2.02 intakes are due to ship this week. Still waiting on the cam from Lunati. I mimicked the build here of the Mild Magnum build, so it should be in the 375-400 hp range. With that motor goes a brand new set of Doug's D453 headers that can be installed either on the 360 or the 273. I also have the mini starter.

I would like to get 27k for the car.
