Hi All,

I’m in need of finding a good alignment shop for my 72 Swinger in the LA area. Most shops that do alignments won’t adjust caster and want to make a sure I’m adjusting everything the way it should. I’ve read in a few older posts that the Skosh ratios are what I should be relying on (hopefully this is the best reference).

Anyone in the LA area know of a place I can get this service?

Thanks for the help!

My friend recommended Bob's Alignment at 2330 San Pedro St. in L.A. My friend said that he is well-versed in classic American iron.

Move away from the west coast where mechanics are paid to stay home or live on the sidewalks. My sons friend just moved out to Oregon. He said everyone out there wants to get more money to do less work. Even the Garbage collectors get paid to work from home.

Marlo's Frame & Alignment, Van Nuys. Marlin’s did all the alignments for Julius when he had his Mopar restoration shop in LA.

Simpson Frame and Alignment, Hollywood on Gower.

Tyerman's Automotive, Burbank

Cars Automotive & Muffler, Redondo Beach

Steve at Johnson Alignment, Torrance

Thanks for all the recs, guys.
Would you all say the Skosh chart I supplied would be the best numbers to stick to or would it just be best to let the experts handle the numbers?

do you have:

aftermarket upper control arm or offset upper bushing?

adjustable strut rods?

shoot for “Typical Performance Street” and ask for as much caster as they can get following the other parameters.

They might not be able to get to 2.5 positive caster on both sides.

None of the above.

Suspension hasn’t been upgraded, stock, but will soon upgrade to tubular arms.

Thanks for the advice!

hopefully the tublular uppers you get are built to get more caster adjustment. That will help get to the skosh number
