I see adds for hood scoops with adhesive to hold them to the hood. anybody tried this method? I have my doubts . Thanks

In the search box type in adhesive hood scoop. There's some opinions about just that.

Sounds like a stupid idea to me. You could use some body panel adhesive and it would be permanent. Although the cost of that stuff would be able the same as if you did it the correct way.

I am a bit surprised, some say it works good. Did not want to put holes in the hood. Thanks for your ideas.

3M panel bond...never worry about again

Hope it doesn’t become a ‘windshield scoop’. lol
You will probably be ok, but some adhesives ‘dry out’ after a few years and are prone to releasing.
Yote

The cars look real nice without the scoops too.

Clean flow, your eyes folllow the stylish Body Lines.

Confirm the color, Winchester grey? Also spend the money on factory all black Twister scoops and a ladder stripe. That is a nice looking car it deserves a factory hood treatment not glue on scoops.

Either one would look good.
