Yeah well I'm ignorant when it comes to medications. But I do know that they had me on Metoprolol before they changed me. Not sure why I guess they figured my heart rate was okay at the time.

To paint over the por15 or no... hmm
I learned a lot after my surgery. Before that I got my BP checked once a year and didn't know what my heart rate was.
I should have watched things closer. Good thing my mitral valve decided to split/tear and needed fixing or I could have ended up having a heart attack event that could have taken me out.
Good luck getting it off. Sanding is only way. Aggressive sanding..
I’m talking about painting directly over it. The under side of my dart is all por15 coated now.
Yep paint over it.....
And I was saying, if you wanted to paint the underside and NOT spray over it, it's tough to remove.....
Morning all you health nuts. I average close to 10000 steps on my fit bit, two days at the swap meet, over 15000 per day.

I'm just doing minor stuff and it just drags on.
I’m sitting on the stuff to get it nearly drivable. Just waiting for the time to do it. Gotta wait until the squatters are gone

POR15 degrades and fades with UV light. I would paint anything that isn't covered up.

Not likely. It would take an effort along the size of the Manhattan project to pull that off. Haha ok maybe not that big, but I’ve not been able to work on the car since July of last year due to the squatters. I can barely get in to get my animals fed. But hopefully that matter is gone by June. If it is, I fully plan on working late nights to get ready.
that’s problem one. Problem two is still obtaining the final bits of pieces. For example, the rotors for the brake kit I ordered a year ago, still haven’t came in. I check weekly. The rest of the kit they went ahead and shipped me, I probably need to start figuring out an alternative. Then I still need a driveshaft and a good distributor, which I plan to purchase from hoppy.
Realistically, I think if I can perhaps get the engine running and tested on the Dyno and the car in paint by fall, I think I have good shot of final assembly over the winter.
I fully intend to do the power tour next year. Be cool if we could go together....maybe trailer the dart to your place and stage from there....

They’re doing the Deep South run this year, any idea where they may take it next year since they’ve rescheduled 2022 Hot Rod Drag week to basically the 2019 power tour route?
