Picked up the 65 fish Sunday, and the 1975 Ruster yesterday...the fish came with a ton of extras, most parts are there including lots of extra trim and parts! Not sure what the plan is yet for this one, frame has had lots of work and it doesn’t look the best, has real nice rust free quarters and one awesome front fender, was a 273 Commando car but no engine, probably gonna part it out.

The Ruster was 5 mins from my house at a farm, figured I’d save it from the scrapper...the farmer bought it when it was fairly new and held on to it for sentimental reasons...probably should have stored it inside or let it go years ago but no saving this one. Good news is it has a 318, magnum wheels, crack free dash pad, power disc brakes and some other good parts yet I can save....guy said it last ran about 10 years ago but we’ll see LOL

Good Lawd, that Duster must have eaten some Taco bell, it's *** is blown out! Whatever color that fish is, I like it just as it is. Sort of a modern take on paint these days is to have a matte finish. Seems the lower front corner of the doors is always suspect. Let us know if your gonna part it.

HArd to believe those two cars came from the same state. That Barracuda looks pretty solid. Load it on the trailer and bring it tp MITP. I bet it will go home with someone else.

The barracuda is actually from Colorado, but I bought it from a guy here in Minnesota fixing up another 65. I actually got a title with the duster but not with the Cuda

Dang.

If it's also got an 8.25 rear, then that's a bonus. Heck you got a drivetrain and disc brakes to go right into the cuda. A project complete with parts car. Plus parts to sell to recoup some money. Winner winner!!!

The discs might get used in my wife’s 66 Valiant, unless I decide to buy a new kit but it doesn’t hurt to have a pair around, but also easy to sell if I don’t keep them. I’m hoping it’s an 8 1/4....I didn’t really look yet...too much rusty crap hanging down in the way LOL....

Duster has a lot of good parts left.

spool mount V8 k frame in the duster too if original V8 car.

Looking at the rear of that car, hopefully the K frame isn't looking similar

What bait were you using. The Barracuda looks like it took live bait. The Ruster looks to have been a bottom feeder.. Nice catch though. Did you provide your fish and game license to the authorities. LOL

Yanked a bunch off the Ruster today, I think this is the rustiest car I have ever worked on....it’s rotted everywhere....I’ll get some pics up later
