1965 MMP's Barracuda Hemi swap! The Ever Changing Build
So spent the better part of my night last night playing with the dash harness and Identifying all the wires and taking notes of wire that will and wires that won't be used, and also identifying wire which I'll need to add. My car originally was a floor shift auto /6 with AC, a 3 speed wiper unit w/ washer fluid pump, Map light, and Glove box light. None of these options were included in the M&H harness.. I'm not going to be using most of these but it does make for a bit of an issue as the floor shift unit had a different routing and wiring for the reverse lights then that of the push button. The AC had a completely different harness set up than the standard heater box. The fun one to figure out was the wiper switch, it had about 4 more wire leads than the standard. So my stock harness was not the same and on top of that it had been hacked by I'm sure a few different owner. So I spend most of my night figuring out what was what. But I think I got a handle on it. Also took a look at the engine/ front light harness and it looks like I'm going to end up losing half of that and will have to build my own battery to starter to efi/key switch. Hoping to make that a clean little set up so I have as few wire under the hood as I can.. I prefer the clean look with motor.
I also got my hide away antenna last night!
Does anybody know where I can find the plastic gasket/ fittings for the rear quarter windows. I got new glass and want to replace the broken parts of plastic holding them in.
