TQ DIFFERENCES

The rating was different from holley due to the water column used.
A 1000 flowed = 950 holley, remove choke and co tour the airhorn, dress the blade screws and shaft for more flow...over 1000 cfm.
Further, on open plenum intakes, use a 1" spacer and remove the carb's secondary baffle plate.....if track and stall convertered. I hear it picks up a tenth or 2

IIRC, *I Think* that spacer is from TransDapt or Mr. Gasket. I forget. FWIW, between the spacer and the intake, it’s going to need a die grinder!

I’ve heard a 50/50 on the baffle plate. On day I’ll test it out. But I won’t grind on this carb. I have a few other TQ’s I butcher up for curiosity purposes and will modify one of those instead. It’ll probably look like a troll and a witch had a child, but I’ll see how it performs.
