Kickdown Question

I'm not trying to argue or be combative/contrary.
I'm new and I'm learning and I'm trying to fix my own s**t myself.

So..... keep adjusting TV rod until it holds passing gear a little longer or ????
I still think I should do the lower adjustment, just because.
