Drag Truck makes first Full 1/4 mile pass - 13.08

-
Drag Truck = We (the farmer) had to drag it out of a field through about 8" of snow after we bought it, and we are still "draggin'" with it

Sounds and runs great! Close call for the driver in the opposite lane. That'll pucker your butthole! 65'

13.08 is damn impressive. 12.80's with some tune. May be even a little faster.

Getting it done! But are you gonna change your screen name to 360magnumwillrun? Hahahaha, good job seriously bro! I love that truck

I'm tipping my hat now...unreal in a heavy longbed.... Way to go 318willrun!!

Thanks all. With all the other projects I have going on, this truck will have to be put on the back burner for a while. We'll eventually get back to it, and the journey to this point has been a blast. Hopefully it will inspire the thought that it doesn't have to be a Road Runner, Charger, Duster, or 'Cuda nor does one have to pencil 10 grand into their budget to play around with something older and have a blast doing it!.

I agree. That's why I built my pro junk 91 dakota sport.

I watched your vid earlier tonight . Good job !
I do have 2 questions though ...
1. Your timeslip reads 13.08 1/4... 1.82 60 ft... but only 99 mph trap speed.
Does that seem odd ? I would have guessed around 105 mph....or a 1.6ish 60 ft.

2. Did the car that lost control break an axle ?

You are correct. A good head wind plays havoc on pickup trucks. I'm sure it would go over 100+ mph, and I will say I believe it would have got into the 12's also, even if barely. Not sure on the other car
