Looking to try Taylor wires on my 69 340 dart with mild cam and stock HP manifolds. My mallory unilite is obnoxiously tall, so I need a 90 at the cap. Has anyone tried these wires? If so which ones do I need?

Thanks!

LA`s especially with headers could use 90`s on both ends. Taylor doesn`t seem to make them, at least the last time I checked. You`ll have to do a hard search for wires that offer made up 90`s and offer choice of straight boots and 90`s and make them up your self.
good luck

90* at the distributor and straight at the plugs always worked for me on my Dart Sport & Aspen. Header brand may affect clearance. I always used TTI.

PM sent.

I have Taylor wires on the Duster. They are at least 10 years old and have had no problems. They have the 135 degree spark plug boots and 90 degree boots on the Mallory distributor.

Thanks for the info. There are some sharp rides out there.
No headers here. Just stock 340 HP manifolds.
Taylor does have a set with 90's on both ends part # 74071

Eric, would you have a part number on those?

Mopar head I looked them up on the Taylor website. I could be wrong, their website is crap.
I really need 90's at dis. and straight at plug

I've used Taylor wires. They worked well. I'm using Moroso now.

I always make my own wire sets, and that is what I'd recommend you do if you want specific ends and a quality fit.

Yes and no problems. Taylor was the supplier for MP wire sets.

I bought the MSD Boot set and wire Crimper figuring I might need to do the spark plug ends on my Big block Dart but going on 7 years just fine.

Here’s the p/n for the ones I have. I’m running an old set of blackjack alumicote headers. I am also installing Taylor’s on the 408 that’s going in the Duster soon

Well It looks like I will try these. Taylor Cable 73255 Spiro-Pro. I am hoping they are "some assembly required" So I can make them myself.
