1965 MMP's Barracuda Hemi swap! The Ever Changing Build
Last night I had enough time to get the driver side head off. I was worried about the brake booster being in the way but I only had to contort the coil leads other than that it wasn't an issue. I didn't have as much time as I wanted so I wasn't able to clean up the pistons and install the head gasket and head but everything came off without any problem.
Made a bonehead mistake last night while at the autostore. lol ordered head bolts for the hemi but didn't check them before leaving. Got home and realized the kit was for only one side... ugh So I ordered another set and only got the passenger side torqued.
I do have to say, the more and more I work on this motor the more I love it. I'm soo glad I made the switch and swapped this in.
I know its not everyones choice or want but this is my car and it make me happy and isn't that what all this is about?
