Looks like I need to take a ride to a more elevated portion of the valley this evening if I want to see any part of that eclipse. Moon will be just coming up during it's bloodiest stage. Those astronomic events just fascinate me.

Cloudy and cool today.
Had to bust a move early to get to swap meet. Was very busy, lots of stuff. Saw a 8bbl la intake with carbs. Not my cup of tea so i didnt even ask. Then off to see Mom. 200 ish miles between home, city and stop at care home.

You have a great attitude esp. considering all the white knuckle driving. I'm about to drive from Metairie LA to Oak Harbor WA, trying to decide whether to go up Colorado or over to Utah, close to same miles.
We stay in Kihei, kinda hippy dippy, laid back. Have fun! Next time we go we are running up to Lahaina and go to Fleetwoods, with luck would catch Mick in there, he shows up and sometimes plays I hear.

Made it home. Gas gauge crapped out. Not a biggie, as long as its not the sender.
Went to a stamp sale this morning near Lancaster PA. Got a few good buys. Got most of the floor down. Grabbing a bite to eat (chicken parm sub and breaded shrooms) then will set toilet on. Need to figure out a few things on new sink and shower before I do any more flooring. Just gonna tape down edges till then. I got 5 cases to be sure I had enough, but so far have used a little less than 3. Should be able to return one.

Man I’m feeling it. 12 hours in a car driving yesterday, my back is killing me. This despite the Durango being super luxurious. I must not have had the seat right or something.

Well finally a quiet evening, training is all complete for the week. I am going to unwind tomorrow and start the long drive back to Fargo on Tuesday. Attached is some pix from our drone of yours truly teaching a Church security Team at our new facility. Blair Creek Training Center. It was a very special day and I was humbled to be able to teach these men as they try so diligently to keep their congregation safe.

Good afternoon!
The past three days have been "fun"
Friday, I was leaving school to go to work in the duster and it missed once. That's not usual and I smelled something different. When I pulled over and checked I found that my coil had split open and leaked all over the intake. Brand new edelbrock coil about 6 months old. great. Called dad and he brought the coil off the slant 6 and my some tools. Got to work about an hour late all told but It ran perfect the whole time with the slant coil on it. made it to work, then to the school event after until 11. that was a 21 hour day.
Yesterday, I went to a friends house with a shop and we went and got an MSD Blaster 2 coil for it. wrapped it in heat tape, he had one of those chrome coil dress up things we painted black and heat taped, and put it on.
In neutral, it revved fine and didn't skip a beat. When driving, it kept missing almost every second and ran like crap. Barely got it home and it ripped that POS outta there.
Today, I ordered an ACCEL super stock coil and it'll be here tomorrow. Went around looking for yard sales and I found a sun X-44 timing light.
@halifaxhops any year guesses? I couldn't find anything
Then I got this top box made by Aero Industries I'm almost done refreshing and straightening then it'll be cool.

Your using a ballast resistor right?
