Yes 1/4" Lexan.

Can cut it with a jig saw without it splintering like acrylic.

You can use stock windows as the curvature templates, with some heat the lexan will conform to the shape then cut it to size.

Can also polish it too. DA the cut edges with 240 > 400 grit then final polish by hand edges only.

Did this custom walk through tinted boat windshield out of Lexan. Used 2 heat guns and a wood form to bend the 90° corner radius.

Casey, are you still here in Florida or back up north ?

Cleaned off about 10 pounds of paint ant putty today to see what is hiding underneath ! Gonna take a bit to go over all this mess.

I like it. Needs a cold down rear seat to really rock.

Personally, if possible I would've left the length of roof as is in original location and just attached the sail panels back farther.

I would like to buy all you stuff, but we couldn't be much further apart . What part of Florida you moving to ?
Looking in the Hudson area. With the economy in it's current shitstorm, we might have to wait. Our plan is to sell our 102 year old farmhouse and property, and move back to Gator Country, land of my birth and raised there, until I joined the USMC in May of '77. I've been watchin' you for years, Georgia, In a nice way.

Yes, roof is welded in place. If I moved it forward anymore the top of the window looked wrong. . I don't like the look of the Demon myself.
I like the way yours is lookin. I would work a small triangle piece in on either side straight up from the back of the door opening. That way you won't need a small piece of glass there. I think you can make it work. You could even use the door glass opening for the light blue wagon above as a template and do it like that. It looks pretty good!

Ya. I plan on closing out the small rear window area with sheet metal. I'll have to go with lexan for the door glass. Already busted 2 trying to cut/reshape the tempered glass. Just can't be done with what I have to work with.

Lexan SUCKS. It yellows over time and scratches REAL easy. Make you a template and run the glass down to a glass shop and let them cut it for you. It is a minimal charge. I've done it several times.
