Fender Splash Shield Factory finish
I hope I'm not too late to the party. Here are a couple shots of my very original 1970 Swinger 340. It's been a desert car it's whole life. It's very original, and the fender has never been off the car until 2019, after a young woman had a seizure and struck my garage at 40 MPH while I was in it. Whatever, I'm still here. My car is very documented, with the build sheet and fender tag. The only thing I got from her insurance was a high quality repop fender, as my original was damaged by my refrigerator and freezer went across the garage and hit my Driver's side fender. I'm slowly repairing it, as my old bones allow. Here's a couple of photos of the splash shield. They are some color of black beneath the undercoating, I don't know what kind.
