NHL Playoffs 2022

Blues in 7. With Husso(and Binnie at his best) in net, that will be the difference.
Calgary in 7. Goaltending wins it for the Flames.
Bolts in 6. They are rolling... plus Espo is golden as a broadcaster!! Lol.
Carolina(dark horse) in 6 over Rangers if the Canes goaltending holds up.
any body making predictions for rd 2. i have the blues in 6.

Figured the Avs might let this game 1 slip with the long layoff but they tightened it up. Good luck to StL, but I think they missed an opportunity. Momentum Colorado... short series...

Kind of a yawner Bolts/Panthers.

I expected way more physicality.

Not crazy about the officiating esp the 3rd.

...but that bad call on McDonagh.....looked like they were trying to make up for it.

Also just a shout out to the DU hockey team for the NCAA champs. Now tied with Michigan for 9 championships. Most in NCAA. :D

They've been "pushing " the Battle of Alberta with Flames vs Oilers. Should be a good series!
GO FLAMES!

yep

Battle of Alberta and battle of Florida.

I like Keefe as a coach, young smart and won with the Baby Leafs.
For whatever reason the PP was brutal...and no shots on PP.
They sat Simmonds and Clifford? But Keefe at start of playoffs "gotta be ready for rough/tough/dirty series" ?? Didnt make sense...Engvall is garbage..6'6" and doesnt break a sweat or hit anything? They played Holl instead of Lillegjren? Head scratchers...
GO FLAMES!
Yo 4spd, looks like you guys get to keep (Leafs) both coach and GM. Good to hear. I think they put together a great run with what they had.

Carolina dominated the Rangers in the 3rd . I prefer the Rangers but cant see how they can hang with them . Might be a short series....

Missed the 1st period of Flames and Oilers. Love a classic Canada series... as hockey should be !

Turned into a football game scoreboard.

15 goals in a hockey game? Yikes
15 goals and none I saw were due to goalie mistakes . Its just freaking amazing how well modern NHL players can move the puck and skate !
I play year round and am just flabbergasted by their ability !
I am not sure the average fan understands just how technically advanced these players are .
The edge control , power cross overs , passing acuracy , stick loading ...

Wow !

Ya unreal. Not much defense in that game. Guess their last meeting went the same way.

Defending against a talented line on a 3 on 2 or 2 on 1 is harder than you think. Forward need to backcheck yet not abandon the offensive zone too quickly . there was at least one perfect example of this that ended in a goal last night.
