If it doesn’t work………

this might be an option

Didn't get much done today. Radiator will be here tomorrow. Have to find a tool so I can de-pin and re-pin the cam sensor tomorrow for the 58x to 24x conversion. Then u can fire up after that.

I'll get that belt re routed. Thank you for the heads up mopowers.

Got the new radiator here today. It fits everywhere except the top port. So it'll go to the welder tomorrow with the downpipes to have the top port moved to the other side and have the downpipes finish welded. The depinning tool for the cam sensor will be here tomorrow as well. So i can swap the two pins necessary to fire up the motor. Fill the trans, fill the radiator and check all the fittings and should fire up tomorrow. Quite a big difference on the radiator over my last one.

Busted my butt today. She looks like a street car again. Finished the last wire for the start/neutral saftey. Hopefully I didn't mess it up going through this new system and then to the relay. Finished the last of the grounds form the batter to block. Remade the feed and drain lines for the turbos because i didn't like the angles on the older ones after trying to reuse them on these turbos.

Dropped the radiator, downpipes, and driver side dump tube off at the welder. Should be picking back uo tomorrow. After I get back from watching my buddies race tomorrow. Then I can reevaluate the radiator hose situation.

My apologies for the garage interior pics last night the rain made me expedite the pushing in the garage of the dart.

Here are some better ones. Yet again, as I had it out today, and went to pickup the radiator and downpipes, it started raining again. Luckily I put the hood back on before leaving.

Radiator is finally in, 20an lines are good to go now. Wayer pump and cooling fan wiring is finished up. Verified it all works as it should without leaks. Cooling fan for the trans cooler and a2w pump verified. Also got the correct belt and routing done @mopowers. Thank you again.

Went to fire uo and it spins and spins, but doesn't sound like I'm getting spark. Gonna verify with holley tomorrow that the wires I swapped(that I saw on their video) needed to be swapped going from a 58x to a 24x reluctor and the forward cam sensor to the rear cam sensor. Should be something stupid easy and hopefully fire up tomorrow.

Your belt routing is how I suggested it in post 1476 but it is still different than the pictures in the link you posted.

Hell yeah man! It's comin right along. Lemmie ask you, do you have any plans to decorate the top of the intake? It's a blank slate.

Man im special. This thing is frying my brain. Gonna give it a **** this way. If not then I'll switch it up and see. I ought to have just taken the picture out there with me. I looked at it and said, yep that looks better. My brain will catch up one of these days. It cant be any worse than before though. Thanks.

It's not wrapped around the crank pully as much like the photo mopowers, post 1479 posted? I think thats the one I'd go with, but I'm no expert by any means!

We’re all special in our own way.
I don't see any reason why it won’t work the way you have it. All the pulleys have good wrap on em.

Now that I know it runs I was alot happier that I don't have to be out there late all the time getting stuff done to get ready for the dyno. Have been doing small things here and there.

Watching the voltage drop 3v going from ignition to start was a pain. That's why I had the jumper cables hooked up to fire it. So I went and got a new battery today. All my grounds were the same as before, and had bow voltage drop issue on the old setup. The starter was also spinning alot slower which also could have been from the voltage drop.

Cleaned up some wiring in the trunk and dropped the new battery in there. Also routed the 1/4 pushloc lines for the boost control Mac valves, blow off valves and the dome pressure sensor.

Well with all the rough start issues I'm having I decided to pull the injectors to have them cleaned and flowed. I should have already done it since it sat for so long but I didn't. So my bone head move.

Finished cleaning up the wiring under the car and decided to test out the reverse light and man they're bright. Gonna work perfect for lower light night racing and any no preps I get into when we hopefully move back east. Also got it nice snd cleaned up in the trunk and installed my drain valve finally for the ice box. No more having to vacuum pump it put anymore.

Been a fun few days between the back pain and everything else. I got the coolant overflow can mocked up, waiting on a fitting to finish the coolant snd I also mounted the oil catch can as well. Tracing down a ghost noise on the engine/trans/flexplate on th car. Hoping to have the noise narrowed down and any kind of parts ordered that are necessary so I can still make the dyno on Friday.

Determined the flexplate was the issue. I unbolted rhe converter from it and it made even more noise when I fired it up. Revved it and the sound went away until it went back to idle. So I pulled it and had to overnight a new one from Circle D. It went on there today and it fires right up and no more noises to chase down. So I tool her for a ride down the road and then came home, got it buttoned up and gave her a bath and wiped her down and loaded in the trailer for the dyno on Friday morning. Such a relief to grt it fixed and ready to go So i don't miss another dyno day.

What was the issue with the flexplate? Was it cracked?
