What b&m shifter will work on our mopar 727 and 904s ? I keep seeing they are for Ford or Chevy . My other post on this topic people said they won’t work . How do I see so many mopars with them ? Or does everyone have to modify the trans linkage ?

I put a Hurst Pro-Matic 2 under my factory console. Don't know if you are using a console or not. The Aftermarket shifters, of a cable type, come with all the transmission levers for most.... other than that, did you Google " B@M shifter for Mopar 727 or 904"?

Running the B&M 80706 - B&M Pro Stick Shifter with no issues.

Most B&M shifters come with brackets for mopar, gm, and ford. Here is summits site sorted by shifters, with 904 and 727 tagged. Some are just different colors, handles, or do/don't come with a separate reverse lockout lever.

I prefer the quick Silver on the low side, and the magnum or pro ratchet on the pricier, racier side.

Most have the same base plate, and ratchet mechanism. I have owned many of the B&M.

They are my favorite for sure. They are pretty universal.

Side note, the cable they all ship with is foolishly long...you will probably end up ordering a spare cable that's at least a foot shorter. I always slide mine through some spare fuel line as a protectant sleeve, so it doesn't rub through the plastic sheath.

I've had a B&M Starshifter in my 70 Dart for 25 years. For a street/strip car it really is the best of both worlds. Shifts like a conventional shifter day to day, and when you want it you pull the shifter down in first, pull the t-handle and it drops into ratchet shifter mode for the strip with absolutely no possibility of missed shifts. Pull up the t-handle and push forward on the shifter to be back in conventional shift mode. Reasonably priced, durable and pretty easy to install. For any cable shifter PROTECT THE CABLE FROM EVERYTHING HOT with readily available heat sleeves.

Pn 81120 is my current. Love it
81683 is cheaper, and I liked it too. In fact I think I have a buddy with one on the shelf. I can check if you want.

I would have bought the HD cable, but used the provided one for costs. I DID go to the ONLY speed shop left in Tampa ( gotta love Progress) and got a long strip of 1000° silly-cone cable and routed the cable, kinda like I saw in some related posts here a
On FABO... also follow the manufacturer instructions on bends, and ESPECIALLY heat ie:Headers!) The only thing I Didn't like, and it may be common, was the cable was smooth as silk when totally free, but after install, was tighter.... hope it ain't a problem, in my case. Also, my apologies for posting about a Hurst, when You SPECIFICALLY requested info on B@M

I have a B&M pro ratchet in two of my cars. I don't know of a B&M that doesn't have everything for Ford, Chevy or Mopar, 3 or 4speed auto, Except the powerglide specific shifter. I replaced an absolutely bulletproof Turbo Action cheetah, only because it wasn't idiot proof (me).
Considering the crazy price increases lately for the pro ratchet and t/a, I recommend the Winters. They are 727/904 specific, forward or reverse pattern specific, have a rear entry cable, are bulletproof, and been around for 50 years.

You should be able to find and download the destructions for whatever specific shifter model, and you want to make certain you get the SPECIFIC shift lever for Mopar. I don't remember if 904 and 727 are different. You can not use a factory lever

I like the Pro Ratchet. Simple and cost effective. It just flat works. I've tried the Pro Stick and Hurst Quarter Stick. I just never could get used to the handle in front of the shifter.

I have the B&M quicksilver shifter. cable operated. All brackets are included.
