Get the 1905, and you won't look back. The AVS2's work awesome, and the 650 AVS2 will work flawlessly on your 340.
In regards to the choke, I take every single one out. No chokes in any of my Darts. Just takes a couple seconds longer to warm up. If you must have the choke, just run a simple cable.
