its seeping up from the gasket on all four sides, but the coolant isnt seeping out the ends, only seeping up the gasket towards the valve covers, then it looks like its sweating out of the gasket.
Right, but if it's seeping then a pressure tester shouldn't cause it to stream out. Only wick a little faster. If it streams, that tells you there's an actual direct route for the coolant to leak.
Sounds like the taper of the heads and manifold may not match?
