I would be worried about breaking rocker arms.......
The amount of metal removed for spring/retainer clearance varies too.
 
I have been running those same rocker arms for years. Had to cut them the same way. Have never had a problem.
 
I'd buy a lottery ticket while your luck is still good......
 
I guess I have great luck. They have been that way for 20 plus years and many 7000 RPM shifts.
 
What was the cause of the inspection tear down? And what were the results?
 
The car it came in is gone and I never heard the engine run. Previous owner just started it. I wanted to tear it down and check it. Crank passed mag, lifters and cam not worn, no scuffing on pistons.
If it doesn’t sell I’ll build it after Carlisle.
 
If you change your mind to separate the stuff, Id be interested in the heads, rockers, intake, and headers for A-body. Thanks man...

If it doesn’t sell at Carlisle I’m building it in august. As I said All or none
