Most of the world does not store eggs in the refer. The FDA/USDA make egg producers wash the eggs before sale, to “reduce” pathogens…
Yup. Eggs are fine left out as long as they haven’t been washed or refrigerated. As soon as they’re washed or caused to sweat by refrigerating them, the natural protective coating on the shell no longer does it’s job and bacteria can get in through the shell, causing the eggs to spoil quicker.
