I don't like most of the ways required to lighten a car.....not a huge fan of fiberglass or lexan for that matter unless it was a strictly race car, won't cut or drill holes in my car to lighten it, won't cut the inner fenders out, but do run aluminum bumper brackets, no HVAC box, aluminum hardware scattered throughout the car, etc.
