you think that smells bad, as a kid i had a summer job at a hatchery
sometimes something would go wrong and an egg would go into the incubator not properly fertilized (or maybe the chick died early on, i dont know)
but this rotten egg would have been "cooking" in this incubator for a few weeks
that is to date one of the rancidest (most rancid?) smells i ever came across
