This is my 1970 Mopar that started life as a VG Valiant tub only. No sheet metal, glass, doors or fixtures. I was lucky to be given many left over parts from several different MOPARS and put them all together to make my "Dodge 500", as it has a 68 Coronet grille fitted. The doors are fibreglass, as I could not find any rust free steel ones. I made the steel hood scoop, headers, complete rear of the car and the deck lid to suit.
It runs a 68 440 Magnum with 10.5 : 1 compression, dual Carters and Mallory dual point ignition. 4-speed new process overdrive box with a '62 Dodge Dart 83/4 2:76 rear end. When I first took it out for a test drive, it went quite ok and then I realised I had taken off in 3rd gear!
It's old school muscle, like I grew up with and it's different.
