What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?
Changed the power valve for an 8.5", duct-taped the fuel pressure gauge to the cowl, and drove to the Steak & Shake cruise-in (with a stop to pick up a prescription). I had a hard time hearing the girl at the CVS drive-up window over the 451 and dual 3" exhaust!
The PV enrichment seems to be working now. It's still hard to keep my foot in it long enough to get a steady-state AFR reading even at 6" Hg. I wonder if I got some kind of sludge in the PVCRs which has now passed through. Going 40 miles to another car show in Salem, AR tomorrow - that'll be a good test run.
