Hurricane Season is about to start

Just checked NOAA. Hurricane Agatha has just developed in the eastern Pacific across from the area of new development slated for midweek in the Gulf and Caribbean. Interesting to watch.

Gulf temps are around 80 to 82 F right now.

The big one that hit the northeast was in 1938. I think 600 people died. Tremendous tree damage. Railroad beds washed out. Houses floating in Long Island Sound. Concrete sections where houses used to be. And no warning till it was too late. There is a program on CPTV about the hurricane like once a year.
