B-bodies now has E-bodies site look. What do you think? I'm sure A-bodies is next.

I found you do get used to the new kook and navigation. But I also noticed I don't visit E-bodies as often since update as B & A. Though I have an E-body as well.

Is that because of the update? I think most is because E-bodies is dominated by parts hunting and hunters. Being they only existed for 5 years. Makes that's understandable.

Not a big fan of the new style over there, but over time I will become accustomed to it and know nothing better. Then when they update next time I can help complain about change in my daily routine

I have worked the new software on the other sites for a while now. (I am mod there too) It was a change but not bad. There are a lot of similarities. Software becomes outdated and is not supported by the parent companies as new operating systems come out. No updates for the operation of the site, for security features and no help with issues and changes along the way. You can bet Joey didn't upgrade the software without good reason. There is a sizable expense and what a pain in the butt to do it to all his sites. I bet he didn't do for fun.

It's like a new pair of underwear. At first it's constrictive, but then it becomes a part of us.

I won't mind if bells & whistles change, but I think FABO is the class of the field appearance-wise, color combos etc. The Forward Look "swoop" boomerang better stay. There's a restaurant that had a "space-age" Era sign out front, Hugo's, loved driving by & seeing it. One day it was gone, a boring rectangular thing in it's place, like a parking lot sign on a pole. Ruined the whole vibe of the place.

Old guys don't like change but like bacteria it grows on you.
Once ya figure out a couple little things then it is all good.

Don't much like them. Only one page of recent posts? Won't spend much time here anymore when they all change!

FBBO had a cool format. When I built my 66 Sat about 12 years ago. This Place? Im a Carpenter, not a Computer tech, but at least I Can READ THE PAGES... over there, it kinda hard these days. Love it Here, like it is!

I'm dealing with the changes. I don't particularly like them.
Strangely enough, they didn't ask me what I thought first, before they made them.....

I know. Site software out of date. Framework unsupported at current levels. Blah Blau Blau. What about our fears of new design?

:mad:Us grey beards will just have to have the grandkids over to show us around any new formats:eek::eek:... that's the right word, "formats" ??....right ? :( .. sure Joey didn't do it to bust balls.

To be honest, I find the updated appearance has less contrast between the headings, background text, and post titles and content.

The colored borders are also "less sharp" if those are the correct descriptions.

This makes viewing and locating things "less easy" and somewhat fatiguing.

The feature and functionality changes are less offensive and I'm sure will be adjusted to in time.

So far the only feature I'm not in love with is needing to click (rather then hover) on the "Notifications" link.
