How do you like your Mopar, stock, pro street, restomod, etc.?

Probably been asked before but how do you like your Mopar done up? I prefer a stock look with performance add-ons that can easily be returned to stock. That's just me though. I do appreciate all of the cars I've seen here.

If I had the money: a real SS BO29 Barracuda or real SS LO23 Dart

Resto mod.

I like stock/period correct esthetic with modern or bolstered front seats for comfort. Stock looking but with some modern ad on's...hot motor, performance suspension and kelsy hayes disc brakes.

I like the FAST concept. Looks like a nicely restored original car, but it's much quicker. Anything you can't see is fair game.

I like and appreciate all of the above. I find the most "use" for stock or next to stock daily drivers.

Something that still resembles the look of how it rolled off the line and that's fast enough that the term " muscle car " doesn't get embarrassed by modern day imports and or even domestic gov't built trash

MOPAROFFICIAL has got it, comfortable seats hot motor, lowered a bit with good suspension, good brakes but it's not a road racer, fifteen-inch tires are fine. More of a drag race look.

I think it depends on the car a little some mopars came out of the gate looking good and sassy others need a little more help to bring out their spirit. All need upgrades to motor, exhaust and chassis so they can live up to the legend .

I like them all, especially the rare ones.
Not a fan of rustrods.

Stock appearing...but by all means improve anything you like. Not a fan of lipstick, jewelry and loud exhaust.

I like them all. I built the 72 avatar as a 70's throwback and it came out just like I wanted. Loud, obnoxious, always wantin' to go. The 408 begs for a heavy right foot.

My 71 will be 99+% stock and have the original look. Although a 340 car, it's a sheep in wolves clothing, totally opposite from the 72.

My 69 Charger...well, in my dreams, it would have a big-inch stroker, look totally stock, and walk softly but carrying a big stick! For now, it will have to suffice as a mid-12 sec 440 car that looks stock.

So clearly I like them all. There are so many cars out on this forum that sure have my interest!!

I used to like bone stock original and looked down on resto-mods until I came across my 51 GMC pick up which was missing so many parts that I realized it was resto-mod or nothing at all. It was basically not even a good parts truck. 435hp LS3, air suspension and 2 computers later and I love it. Ever since that build, I have embraced the idea of getting the body shape back on the road (as opposed to it rusting in a field) and I've never looked back. I think of a resto mod as a tribute of sorts to the original.
My Demon needed the correct side marker lights so I drove 300 miles one day and paid $100 only to be extremely disappointed in their condition. Solution? Side marker delete and I love it! Oh, I have the lights if anyone is interested... But yeah, to each their own. It's not always practical to restore things exactly as they once were.

Resto Mod is my personal flavor to do. Though that description can be a wide and varied one. The way you described it above, stock with add in’s that can be returned to stock easy is fine. That level of modification can be wide.

But I don’t mind any other.

Restomod. Most people consider a restoration to be taking a car back to exactly how it left the factory. I like the stock look, but I am all for some extra creature comforts and performance mods.

I just enjoy a quality build, everything from a 100 pt car to a tubbed rollbar fire eater. Note to self, none of mine are even remotely stock. Built motors, headers and for heavens sake throw that miserable firewall connector in the trash first thing.

Mainly Stock body and interior modded drive line but not hi tech looking.

But I can appreciate anything if done right.

My plan is always: get rid of the rust, get it reasonably straight because it is meant to be driven, factory interior with day 2 add ons. If is a 5-60 year old Mopar I want that same engine. Tributes, clones are great.
No radio, no AC..I want the windows down, smell the fresh air, and hear it run.
But I am old and old school.
Current build is a 64 Savoy slant going to a big block 383 4 speed.

How I drove them on the streets in the 70's and 80's is how I like mine. The way they came with tires for traction. Here are just a few pics of how mine would look in my era.

Clearly we think alike! Mine looks just like that with exception of the Hemi I accidentally dropped in it!

day 2- tube chassis. I personally have no use or interest in OEM-restored muscle-cars.
