My wing windows make a lot of noise on my 69 barracuda. Drives me crazy. It is an ac car so I drive with the windows up. The rubber around them fits loosely. Looks like a LOT of work to replace them. Anyone have any easier fixes? Can’t seem to find any threads on novel fixes. I have been thinking about glueing them shut.

It's actually a pretty simple job. Phillips screws in the top and a couple of nuts or bolts on the bottom and the vent window is out. Your worst problem will be rust, so it's best to soak everything down with penetrating oil first and let it sit.

Ear plugs.... It's 53 years old. I'm sure at 53 you leaked a little air.

Short of replacing- a little strip caulk in strategic places like the factory did, or "shim" your loose w/s with a thin strip of foam.

Mine had some shrinkage and tears.Opened the vent, patched bad areas with permatex ultra black rtv, applied a thin coat of Vaseline to glass. Closed the vent let sit for a day or so. Cleaned the vent glass.Worked for me !

Try the matchbook/wedge trick. If that works then maybe you can bend the "cam" on the frame out a little bit? Is the handle snug?
I have some nice window gaskets if interested.
