I just ordered to steely 15X7 with 4”bs for the rear of my 1970 dart swinger. It still has the 7.25 rear ended with XHD leafs springs. Will 255/60r15 work without moving the leafs? Or should I play it safe with some 245/60r15s

70. Dart stock suspension 1/2 inch between BFG 60r 235. 14. 5.5 rallys and leaf soring

Theoretically only less than a half inch in section width. Visually nothing, but maybe the difference between a rub, and no rub. And both are a little wide for a seven. To me, a no-brainer. 245.
Edit: slightly shorter too, a little more clearance at the front edge of the wheelwell opening, where a tall tire can be tight.

On my '72 15x8 Wheel Vintiques Rallys with 4 5/8 back space 245-60x15s on the rear. 1/2" clearance on the inside, had to roll the lip outa the way on the wheel opening. Gabriel helped to adjust it to the proper ride height/attitude :D
